Castor

Gujarat is the world’s origin for castor, and we buy from the belt we sit in. Whole seed in four cleaning grades, and castor oil in five — from commercial through pharmacopoeial — each offered on a tested certificate rather than a promise.

Grade 01

Natural Castor Seed

Whole seed as harvested and basic-cleaned. The standard crushing feedstock.

Moisture content: Max 6%
Foreign matter: Max 2%
Purity: Min 98%
Damaged seeds: Max 2%

Admixture: Max 2%

Oil content on paper
Seed is offered on a tested oil percentage; oil is offered on acid value, FFA and hydroxyl value. If the lot does not test, it does not ship.

Cleaned to the grade you buy
Natural, bold, machine-cleaned and FAQ are genuinely different cleanings — purity, admixture and damaged-seed counts are reported per lot, not assumed from the grade name.

Pharmacopoeial when you need it
USP / BP / IP grade oil supplied against the monograph, with the certificate of analysis your regulator and your formulator will both ask to see.

Packed for the mode you ship
HDPE drums for LCL, flexitank or ISO tank for bulk, tins for retail and sampling. Seed in 50 kg bags or 500–1,000 kg jumbos.
